Who we are
Caravana is an itinerant and collaborative art project created by three artists: Douglas McCurdy, a conceptual artist, photographer, and musician; Flavio Malaguti, who works with 3D and organic ceramic sculpture and Lisanne Haack, an abstract visual artist. Together, they envisioned Caravana as a continuous spiral, a movement rather than a fixed form, that brings together artists from around the world to co-create a unique exhibition format shaped by artists, for artists and art supporters.
The goal is to reimagine how art is shared and experienced, moving away from the conventions of the traditional art world to create inclusive, experimental, and hybrid spaces.
How to participate
The project is nomadic by design, inviting local artists, including both residents and immigrant artists, to participate in or host upcoming shows. We believe this convergence represents not only the future of art but a present that deserves to be more widely understood and appreciated by diverse audiences.
Caravana aims to expand its reach and continue fostering global dialogues on the evolution of art and the power of creative collaboration. This is not just an exhibition, it's an invitation to collectively imagine and build the future of artistic expression.
Caravana is more than an art project — it’s a movement
We’re always open to collaborating. Please reach out for more information on hosting, joining or attending a Caravana Presents show.
